Solution
Thüga AG uses Deutsche Telekom’s sovereign Enterprise GPT solutions as a centrally managed AI service for the municipal energy and water providers in its network, so individual utilities do not have to build and integrate AI on their own. Sensitive enterprise content from network operations, customer management, regulatory processes, work instructions, and operational documentation is exposed to the large language models as internal, organization-specific knowledge. Employees interact with the GPT applications in natural language to retrieve referenced summaries, generate drafts for internal and customer-facing communications, prepare performance descriptions and training materials, and support intelligent document processing and data analysis. Deutsche Telekom’s T Cloud Public provides the sovereign hosting environment, keeping processing inside the European legal framework, audit-proof, and within the company boundary while the Enterprise GPT layer delivers knowledge assistance and task automation to staff across affiliated utilities.
Data flow
Operational and administrative content from network operations, customer management, regulatory processes, work instructions, and operational documentation is supplied as organization-specific knowledge to the Enterprise GPT applications. Utility employees query the models in natural language; the GPT layer analyzes documents and data, produces summaries and drafts, and returns outputs to staff, with processing hosted in Deutsche Telekom’s sovereign German T Cloud Public in Europe.
