Google Cloud

Sales Automation

Google Cloud's demand engine was receiving growing volumes of increasingly complex leads, but lead preparation still depended on manual, batch-based enrichment. That made it difficult to add trusted buyer, account, and market context quickly enough for timely sales engagement and created a bottleneck between marketing and sales.

30x faster lead processing
4 hours to process 25,000 inbound records — reduced from nearly a week
reducing cost-to-serve by up to 80%

Solution

Google Cloud and Accenture rebuilt lead enrichment as an always-on agentic AI operating model embedded directly into Google Cloud's go-to-market workflows. The production system uses a multi-agent design built on Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Gemini to prepare, enrich, validate, and prioritize inbound leads in real time instead of in manual batches. Agents draw on internal data, third-party sources, and refreshed enriched datasets to identify the right buyer contacts, roles, account context, and market signals, then assemble decision-ready lead records for sellers. BigQuery serves as the data foundation for the datasets the agents use and refresh, Gemini provides the model intelligence behind enrichment and validation decisions, and Vertex AI supports the production-scale agent workflow. Quality is governed through direct output review, benchmarking against human performance, risk-based sampling, edge-case routing to human reviewers, continuous audit loops, and operational monitoring for retries and time-outs.

Data flow

Inbound lead records enter Google Cloud's go-to-market workflow, where agents pull context from internal data, third-party sources, and refreshed enriched datasets. The multi-agent system built on Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Gemini enriches and validates buyer, account, and market signals in real time, routes edge cases to human review, and returns decision-ready leads to sellers for follow-up.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    3 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
