Quantiphi

Security and Compliance

Quantiphi needed to consolidate security data spread across multiple clouds because analysts were stuck triaging alerts in isolated dashboards and dealing with severe alert fatigue instead of proactively addressing threats.

Reported impact

Business outcome

Quantiphi unified dispersed log sources, reduced analyst alert fatigue, accelerated rule and playbook creation, and positioned its security operations for auto-remediation and self-healing workflows.

Solution

Quantiphi modernized its security operations on Google Cloud by consolidating multicloud telemetry into a unified Google SecOps operating model. The company uses Google Security Operations SOAR to create a single data model and automate response workflows, while Google Security Operations (SecOps) provides the centralized threat-detection surface that replaces fragmented native logging systems from multiple clouds. Analysts use Gemini in SecOps to generate correlation rules and SOAR playbooks from natural-language prompts instead of writing them manually, and Mandiant Threat Intelligence adds external threat context to the environment. Together, these components reduce engineering time, cut alert fatigue, and let the security team move toward auto-remediation and self-healing security systems. The resulting platform improves data protection and supports the regulatory trust Quantiphi needs for its global client work.

Data flow

Logs from multiple cloud environments are consolidated into Google SecOps, normalized through the SOAR data model, enriched with Mandiant intelligence, and acted on through Gemini-generated rules and playbooks that automate triage and remediation.

Solution architecture

4 components · 4 layers
  1. Compute
    • Gemini in SecOps Lets analysts generate correlation rules and SOAR playbooks using natural-language prompts.
  2. Serving
    • Google Security Operations (SecOps) Centralizes security telemetry and threat detection across Quantiphi's multicloud estate.
  3. Orchestration
    • Google Security Operations SOAR Provides the unified data model and automates security response playbooks.
  4. Governance
    • Mandiant Threat Intelligence Adds threat intelligence that supports automated remediation and stronger security posture.

Architecture clues

  • Gemini is used inside SecOps specifically for correlation-rule and SOAR-playbook generation.
  • The architecture is designed to support instantaneous auto-remediation and self-healing systems.
  • The original problem involved log sources spread across as many as three different cloud services.
  • The platform is aimed at both cybersecurity and data privacy workflows.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value75/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact0/25
    0 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence77%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance0/10
The publication date has no documented provenance.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity8/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
