Solution

Würth IT evaluated Copilot for Microsoft 365 as a digital assistant across the Würth Group’s existing Microsoft 365 cockpit. The rollout focused on routine knowledge-work flows already happening in Teams, Outlook, and Word: meeting transcripts are summarized into decisions and actions, bullet-point notes become well-structured multilingual emails, and presentation or document preparation starts from Copilot-generated drafts instead of blank pages. Because the assistant lives inside tools employees already use, Würth IT could identify role-based use cases quickly during the early access program and distribute test licenses across companies and locations without redesigning the collaboration stack. The implementation pattern is to feed Copilot the user’s meeting transcript or prompt context inside Microsoft 365, have it generate the first draft or summary, and let employees spend more time on higher-value work across sales, administration, and shared services.

Data flow

Meeting transcripts and user prompts from Microsoft 365 apps are passed to Copilot for Microsoft 365, which generates summaries and drafts that employees review and use inside Teams, Outlook, and Word.

Evidence from the source

I can write the bullet points in German and ask Copilot to compose the email in English—and vice versa of course.
I give the command: Summarize what was discussed and decided. And Copilot provides me with the summary.
