Harry Reid International Airport

Real-time Analytics

Harry Reid International Airport needed real-time visibility into queues and passenger flows, but a legacy lidar system and manual phone-driven monitoring could not provide actionable analytics across two terminals, 110 gates, and 500-plus camera locations.

Business outcome

LAS avoided more than $5 million in capital costs, reduced the frequency of waits over 20 minutes, and saved about $140,000 a year in operational costs by automating checkpoint monitoring and reusing camera infrastructure instead of deploying new sensors.

Solution

Harry Reid International Airport deployed Zensors' physical-intelligence platform across more than 500 existing security cameras and ran the analytics pipeline on NVIDIA software, including NVIDIA Dynamo-Triton, TensorRT, CUDA, and Metropolis. Instead of installing new sensor hardware, the airport reused its camera network to collect live checkpoint and passenger-movement data, then processed the spiky video workloads on GPUs so the system could blend streaming and batch operations without CPU bottlenecks. The platform tracks queue conditions, staffing needs, and wait-time trends in real time, then shares those metrics across airport operations teams and partners so they can proactively open checkpoints or redirect passengers. That software-first architecture gave LAS predictive analytics and real-time operational intelligence while avoiding a capital-intensive hardware refresh.

Data flow

Security-camera feeds are ingested from 500-plus locations, processed through Zensors on NVIDIA GPU services, converted into wait-time and congestion metrics, and delivered to airport operators and partners so they can adjust staffing and checkpoint operations in real time.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
