Ocean Imagerie

Ocean Imagerie faced a 25% increase in imaging volumes across more than 24 locations while operating fragmented, site-specific systems with limited workflow visibility and no centralized access, which slowed collaboration, duplicated effort, and made internal teleradiology and multisite coverage difficult to scale.

Solution

Ocean Imagerie partnered with Philips to centralize its radiology operations around Philips PACS as a single imaging workspace for a multisite network in southwestern France. Imaging studies from clinics, offices, scanners, and MRI locations are made accessible through the centralized PACS so radiologists can read exams from home or on-site through one interface instead of switching between disconnected local systems. Philips PACS serves as the common access point for image review, prior-exam comparison, multisite coordination, and internal teleradiology. AI-enabled capabilities, delivered through Philips Advanced Visualization Workspace and integrated third-party applications, provide advanced post-processing and AI-assisted features inside the workflow, helping radiologists interpret CT, MRI, and X-ray studies faster. Philips also supported data migration, training, workflow customization for multisite operations, and a single-entry-point security model.

Data flow

Imaging studies generated across Ocean Imagerie's clinics, offices, scanners, and MRI sites are centralized into Philips PACS, where radiologists access them through one workspace from home or on-site. Within that workflow, Philips Advanced Visualization Workspace adds AI-assisted and post-processing functions so studies can be reviewed, compared with prior exams, and interpreted across sites, including overnight emergencies and internal teleradiology.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
