Solution

Bricorama and Accenture built pAInt as a generative AI shopping assistant for paint-selection and project-planning workflows. The platform runs on Azure OpenAI Service and uses ChatGPT capabilities for natural-language conversation, letting shoppers describe their projects and receive guidance on color choices, quantities, tutorials, trends, and similar examples. Accenture and Bricorama trained the assistant on proprietary content such as paint-can labels and product information so recommendations stay tied to the retailer's available inventory instead of generic advice. The experience is integrated with Bricorama's ecommerce systems, allowing users to save projects to their profiles and add recommended products directly to wishlists or baskets. The implementation also includes responsible-AI safeguards that constrain responses to painting and home-improvement topics and keep the service aligned with GDPR.

Data flow

Customers describe a painting project to pAInt, which uses Azure OpenAI Service and ChatGPT capabilities together with Bricorama's proprietary paint and product content to generate recommendations. The assistant returns color suggestions, quantities, and related advice, then passes product choices into Bricorama's ecommerce flows so items can be saved to profiles, wishlists, or baskets for later purchase.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    3 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
