Solution

Accenture and KION built an AI-robotics design and simulation workflow that trains warehouse robots before they are deployed into live environments. Working through the Accenture NVIDIA Business Group, the team combines NVIDIA Mega, an Omniverse Blueprint, with KION's supply-chain expertise to create digital twins of entire warehouse systems, including conveyors, pallets, forklifts, autonomous mobile robots, humanoids, robotic arms, and human workers. These digital environments simulate physical interactions, Black Friday demand spikes, and layout changes so robot behaviors can be tuned before go-live. The platform predicts and adapts to real-world operating conditions, helping KION reduce errors, protect worker safety, and optimize throughput. Instead of testing automation only on the warehouse floor, KION can iterate in simulation first and then move more reliable AI-driven robots into production supply-chain operations.

Data flow

Warehouse layouts, assets, and operational scenarios are modeled as digital twins inside the Omniverse environment. NVIDIA Mega runs simulations that test robot behaviors against those conditions, and the resulting adjustments are pushed into autonomous robots before live deployment in warehouse operations.
