Solution

Vodafone and Accenture used the VOIS shared-services organization as the operating foundation for a broader AI-enabled reinvention. VOIS centralizes network monitoring, HR, technology services, finance, and call-center activities that had previously been handled separately across markets, giving Vodafone a common platform for shared operations. To improve delivery speed and efficiency further, Accenture introduced GenWizard, its intelligent automation platform with a full suite of generative AI tools for IT technology services. GenWizard adds orchestration across analysis, coding support, standardized documentation, and automated testing so Vodafone can move from change design to deployment faster while reducing downtime and sustaining service quality for end customers. The combination gives Vodafone a way to serve both its own markets and future external telecom customers through one more automated operating stack.

Data flow

Operational work from Vodafone's shared-services functions is centralized in VOIS, where Accenture-led delivery teams use GenWizard and its generative AI tools to automate analysis, documentation, coding support, and testing. The resulting changes move more quickly through deployment into live customer-facing and partner-facing services, improving efficiency while maintaining service levels.
