ElysianNxt

Risk Management

ElysianNxt needed to replace overnight batch-style risk analysis with a cloud platform that could run large numbers of what-if analyses and regulatory stress tests quickly, while giving customers full lineage and preparing for generative AI–assisted interpretation of risk results.

Solution

ElysianNxt built its .NXT risk platform as a cloud-native SaaS architecture on AWS so financial-services customers can run complex risk simulations without overnight batch processing or deep technical setup. The platform runs distributed microservices on Amazon EKS, while Amazon MSK carries near-real-time messages and data between services to support what-if analyses, stress tests, and compliance calculations. This lets customers trace full data lineage from source to result and scale simulations elastically, including IFRS 9 workloads that dropped from 24 hours to less than 1 hour. ElysianNxt is also integrating Amazon Bedrock into the platform to turn results into text-based insights and configurations and to automate data-quality checks. The combination gives customers faster risk analysis today while laying a generative AI foundation inside the same SaaS environment.

Data flow

Risk and compliance data moves through distributed microservices on Amazon EKS, is exchanged between services through Amazon MSK for near-real-time processing, and is then surfaced to customers as simulations, stress-test outputs, and emerging Amazon Bedrock-driven text insights and data-quality checks.

Solution architecture

3 components · 2 layers
  1. Compute
    • Amazon EKS Runs the distributed microservices that power ElysianNxt's risk-analysis SaaS platform.
    • Amazon Bedrock Powers the in-platform assistant that converts risk results into insights and configurations and automates data-quality checks.
  2. Uncategorized
    • Amazon MSK Streams near-real-time data and messages between risk-analysis services.

Architecture clues

  • Provides full lineage from source to calculation results.
  • Solution is distributed through AWS Marketplace and backed by an ISV Accelerate relationship.
  • Uses a distributed microservices architecture for flexibility and scalability.

Evidence from the source

ElysianNxt is using Amazon Bedrock ... which it implemented to the point of testing in 3 months.
ElysianNxt runs its microservices on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS).
To handle near real-time data processing and communication between services, ElysianNxt uses Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK).
customers can run multiple simulations within a few minutes.
one customer reduced the total calculation time for regulatory compliance data, in this case IFRS 9, from 24 hours to less than 1 hour.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value90/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact15/25
    1 metric describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence92%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability25/25
12 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance8/10
The publication date comes from publisher-controlled metadata.
  • Source transparency9/10
3 source references document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
