Xoople

Real-time Analytics

Xoople needed to turn massive volumes of satellite and geospatial data into enterprise-ready AI assets that customers in industries such as agriculture, logistics and insurance could actually consume inside their workflows, while also addressing market fit, privacy and trust.

Solution

Xoople and EY expanded Earth observation data into a commercial AI platform by working across market design, data engineering and trust. EY first helped validate target industries and create go-to-market playbooks explaining how Earth data intelligence could be integrated into enterprise use cases. On the technical side, the joint team transformed complex geospatial inputs into AI-ready data sets using multimodal AI and Generative AI techniques, while working with hyperscaler collaborators including Microsoft and Databricks to make those data sets consumable across different enterprise architectures. Open, platform-agnostic data formats were created so customers could adapt the outputs within their own stacks, and the program added zero-trust security, least-privilege access controls and continuous verification to make the data trustworthy. The result was an Earth-data intelligence foundation that can deliver predictive business insights rather than raw satellite imagery.

Data flow

Satellite and geospatial inputs are collected into Xoople's Earth data intelligence pipeline, where multimodal AI and Generative AI help convert them into AI-ready data sets. Those outputs are packaged in open data formats, secured with zero-trust controls and then integrated into customer workflows so end users receive predictive business insight instead of raw Earth observation data.

Solution architecture

5 components · 4 layers
  1. Compute
    • multimodal AI Processes geospatial data and related inputs so patterns and predictions can be extracted from Earth observations.
    • Generative AI Helps accelerate how the transformed data sets are enabled for commercial enterprise use cases.
  2. Storage
    • open data formats Make the AI-ready geospatial data consumable across different customer architectures and platforms.
  3. Serving
    • Earth data intelligence Acts as the business-facing layer that turns raw geospatial inputs into usable enterprise insight.
  4. Governance
    • zero-trust access controls Protect data access with least-privilege principles and continuous verification.

Architecture clues

  • EY and Xoople created open data formats so AI-ready geospatial data could remain platform-agnostic.
  • Least-privilege user-based access controls and continuous verification were part of the trust model.
  • Microsoft and Databricks were used as hyperscaler collaborators during the enablement work.
  • The joint team built playbooks to explain how the data sets could be integrated at an enterprise level.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value71/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity16/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact0/25
    0 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence79%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance0/10
The publication date has no documented provenance.
  • Source transparency10/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
