Solution
IMPT migrated its travel and ecommerce platform to Google Cloud in about 15 weeks so the company could run booking, offsetting, support, sales, and partner operations from one AI-first foundation. Compute Engine underpins the production estate, which serves roughly eight million hotel listings and thousands of integrations while Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform handles classification, summarization, translation, and resilience for AI workflows. The company also uses Google Workspace APIs across Gmail, Calendar, and Drive to run AI-assisted sales and meeting workflows, Identity-Aware Proxy to secure infrastructure access, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to track attribution across satellite sites, and Google Cloud Carbon Footprint reporting to monitor emissions. This architecture lets IMPT automate customer conversations, partner operations, and nightly page regeneration while keeping the platform manageable for a 20-person team.
Data flow
Booking and shopping activity flows into IMPT's Google Cloud platform on Compute Engine, where AI services handle customer support, partner outreach, translation, and nightly page regeneration, while Workspace APIs automate sales workflows, analytics tools track conversion across sites, and carbon reporting links infrastructure operations back to the sustainability mission.
