Transsion

“Transsion’s vision for AI phones is to proactively think like a human, execute like a machine, and solve tasks end-to-end,” explains Tuanwei Shi, general manager of Transsion’s TEX AI Center. “In the past, users had ideas and needed tools to realize them. In the future, AI will proactively think for them, even completing tasks without user intervention.”.

Transsion coupled with new technologies such as Agents2Agents (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), Transsion developed Ella, a voice assistant, and several AI agent products that support diverse interactions from text to real-time audio or video. Powered by the agent capabilities of Gemini 1.5 Flash, Ella understands user instructions better and responds instantly, requiring only 0.23 second to receive the first token.
Transsion operates in more than 70 countries and regions across Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Latin America, owning several well-known mobile phone brands. According to IDC, Transsion’s worldwide smartphone market share was 8.7% in 2024, ranking fourth.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value86/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth15/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity16/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence77%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
