Solution

MAIRE is a leading technology and engineering group that develops and implements innovative solutions to enable energy transition. The company’s thousands of engineers help build large installations and are also burdened with paperwork and other bureaucratic tasks. MAIRE decided to use Microsoft 365 Copilot to help automate and streamline routine and repetitive activities. In the first phase of adoption the organization was saving 800 working hours per month, and the saving has more than doubled since then and continues to grow. The team is also encouraging the widest possible uptake of the AI-powered app, using its 'Human in the Loop' portal, containing material related to Microsoft 365 Copilot and to its use cases.

Data flow

Thanks to Microsoft 365 Copilot, MAIRE is already saving hundreds of working hours per month, as measured directly by the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard in Viva Insight.

  • “The adoption process in this first phase has followed this strategy: firstly, we have created a digital channel inside our largest EPC project with Microsoft Teams where our people working in the project can express their needs and the challenges they face, and a team of AI experts can provide the prompt and how to best use Copilot to fulfill those challenges.
  • “To return to our earlier example of the tendering process, one of the first tasks we employed Copilot for was to compare different proposals from several partners.
  • “We were already aware that Microsoft 365 Copilot might be a good candidate to take the burden on a whole range of routine tasks in the company.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value66/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth20/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity16/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact0/25
    0 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence87%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    6 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
