EEVE

EEVE needed a practical personal robot that could autonomously handle lawn care and home security, make decisions in real time, and support continuous feature expansion without forcing customers to manage separate specialized devices.

over 2,500 EEVE robots deployed

Reported impact

Business outcome

Willow gave EEVE a single AI-powered personal robot for lawn care and home security, helped the company deploy more than 2,500 robots, delivered an easy-to-use consumer experience, and created a platform the team can keep extending with new capabilities such as weeding and patio sweeping.

Solution

EEVE built Willow as an edge AI personal robot on the NVIDIA Jetson Nano platform, combining the company's eOS robot operating system with TensorFlow, OpenCV, NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit, and cuDNN to run lawn-care and home-security functions on-device. Sensor and night-vision inputs are processed locally on Jetson Nano so Willow can navigate, avoid obstacles, and make real-time decisions without relying on remote inference. The same embedded stack drives the Toadi mowing attachment for grass cutting, while computer-vision and autonomous-navigation models coordinate patrol, transport, sweeping, and future weeding tasks. eOS orchestrates the robot's AI features and hardware integration, letting EEVE ship one multi-purpose platform rather than separate products for mowing and security. By keeping compute at the edge and using GPU-accelerated deep-learning frameworks, EEVE can continuously extend Willow's capabilities while maintaining a consumer-friendly experience for deployed robots.

Data flow

Visual and sensor inputs are captured on Willow, OpenCV and TensorFlow process them on Jetson Nano under eOS control, CUDA and cuDNN accelerate inference for navigation and security logic, and the robot drives mowing, patrol, and other actions directly at the edge.
