Yotta Data Services Private Limited

Yotta needed to deliver affordable, sovereign AI infrastructure inside India so startups and enterprises could build local-language models without depending on overseas compute platforms that lacked India-specific capacity and economics.

Business outcome

Yotta created India's first adapted AI infrastructure platform, scaled Shakti Cloud to more than 16,000 H100 GPUs, improved training and inference efficiency through NVIDIA networking, and enabled customers such as Sarvam AI to improve model-serving throughput by 20 percent to 100 percent.

Solution

Yotta built Shakti Cloud as a localized AI infrastructure platform on NVIDIA's full-stack ecosystem so Indian customers can train and serve models on domestic infrastructure. The platform combines H100 and A100 GPU capacity today, planned B200 expansion, NVLink and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand reference networking, AI Enterprise software, and NVIDIA Cloud Functions for serverless inference. Around that stack, Yotta exposes a self-service orchestration layer and pay-per-use commercial model that lets customers consume GPU clusters, pretrained software, and scalable inference services without building their own AI platform. That architecture turns sovereign compute, networking, model-serving, and operational tooling into one cloud product that supports Indian-language LLMs and SLMs while giving Yotta room to scale from its current footprint toward a much larger national AI supercloud.

Data flow

Customer training and inference jobs are provisioned through Yotta's orchestration layer onto Shakti Cloud GPU clusters, where InfiniBand and NVLink-backed infrastructure move data across accelerated nodes. AI Enterprise provides optimized software images, and Cloud Functions exposes serverless inference endpoints for applications built on the same platform.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value90/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact15/25
    1 metric describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    4 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
