Solution

CyberAgent built its enterprise AI environment around ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex so AI could become a default layer in daily work rather than a narrow advanced initiative. ChatGPT Enterprise provides the secure foundation for research, drafting, summarization, and decision support across teams, backed by account management, usage visibility, and internal guidelines for handling confidential information. The company then built culture and operations around adoption: Slack follow-ups for inactive users, prompt and use-case sharing, internal rankings for self-visibility, and more than ten OpenAI-led training sessions covering basics, custom GPTs, hackathons, and Codex. Codex extends the environment into design review, code review, documentation, and upstream planning, helping teams pressure-test proposals before implementation and even build systems such as the company’s internal usage-ranking tool. The result is high voluntary adoption without mandates and better-quality decisions earlier in workflows.

Data flow

Employee work such as research, drafts, proposals, code changes, and documentation flows into ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex under internal governance rules. Usage data and Slack follow-ups then feed the adoption loop, while teams share prompts and successful patterns back across the company.

Solution architecture

2 components · 2 layers
  1. Serving
    • ChatGPT Enterprise Acts as the secure company-wide AI workspace for research, drafting, summarization, and everyday decision support.
  2. Orchestration
    • Codex Supports design reviews, code reviews, documentation, planning, and adjacent product work across technical and non-technical teams.

Architecture clues

  • AI Lab and AI Operations Office provide R&D and operating structures behind the rollout
  • Codex is used for design pressure-testing, code review improvements, and AGENTS.md knowledge documents
  • Slack follow-ups are triggered when employees stop using the tool for a period
  • Usage rankings are visible only to the individual employee and are not used for evaluation

Evidence from the source

"CyberAgent used Codex to build its internal usage ranking system"
"Teams are using it for far more than code generation, especially in upstream work such as design, alignment, and evaluation"
"Today, using ChatGPT for tasks such as research, drafting, and organizing key points has become standard practice"
"reaching a monthly active user rate of 93%"

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value90/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact15/25
    1 metric describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    4 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
