Solution

DNP deployed ChatGPT Enterprise across ten high-impact departments after first creating a secure company-wide environment for generative AI. Teams use shared prompts and custom GPT patterns to automate patent research, classify and summarize competitor IP, create first-draft reports, structure English patent and equipment information, generate Python code for analysts with no prior experience, and speed security-review and cloud-compliance work. The same platform is also being used to digitize paper manuals and historical quality logs into a searchable internal knowledge base that future custom GPTs can access. Rather than treat AI as a side experiment, DNP set quantitative adoption benchmarks, made usage visible, and pushed patterns across departments so knowledge reuse, processing volume, and task automation could scale together. Human verification remains in place, but the operating model increasingly turns expert judgment into structured digital labor reused across the company.

Data flow

Patents, manuals, audit materials, cloud-compliance findings, and historical quality logs are brought into ChatGPT Enterprise, where teams summarize, classify, and structure them into reusable outputs. The resulting artifacts feed custom GPTs and an internal knowledge base so the same expertise can be reused across departments with human verification at the end.

Solution architecture

3 components · 3 layers
  1. Storage
    • internal knowledge base Stores structured manuals, quality logs, and other institutional knowledge for later retrieval and reuse.
  2. Serving
    • ChatGPT Enterprise Provides the secure enterprise workspace for research, report drafting, code generation, audit support, and knowledge capture.
  3. Orchestration
    • custom GPTs Capture reusable department-specific workflows and make expert practices available across teams.

Architecture clues

  • Custom GPT patterns spread improvements across departments
  • Human verification remains in place for compliance-sensitive tasks
  • Internal knowledge base captures manuals and quality logs for later reuse
  • Secure environment was established before enterprise-wide rollout

Scoring methodology

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    6 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    4 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
