Solution
Beida Yinghua uses Alibaba Cloud as the infrastructure and search base for its legal-knowledge services. Early cloud adoption covered domain services, monitoring, enterprise email, and cloud hosts, but the more important evolution was on the data side: legal documents, journals, and case data are automatically collected and cleaned, then stored through HBase and a data warehouse so the corpus can keep expanding without degrading search quality. On top of that data foundation, the company introduced Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch as the engine that supports the search scenarios of Peking University Fabao and related legal-service products. The surrounding legal-tech applications combine large legal knowledge bases, case data, knowledge graphs, and risk-analysis methods into smart law, legislation, and enforcement platforms, giving legal professionals faster access to authoritative materials while retaining human review for the highest-value legal content.
Data flow
Legal documents, journals, case records, and related knowledge artifacts are automatically collected and intelligently cleaned, then written into HBase and the data warehouse. Elasticsearch indexes that corpus for fast legal retrieval, and the results are exposed through Fabao and related smart legal, legislative, and enforcement services that blend search with knowledge-graph and risk-analysis capabilities.
