Business outcome
Lemon moved retail SaaS operations from fragmented human-led monitoring toward a unified AI-assisted operating model. The company now uses a single observability and incident-analysis plane across services that support more than 200,000 stores and over 15,000 retail brands, and it can keep mission-based inspections, historical-difference reports, and digital-employee root-cause analysis running continuously so recovery work is pushed down to minute-level response instead of long manual investigations.

Solution
Lemon upgraded its operations model around Alibaba Cloud Cloud Monitor 2.0 and STAROps. Existing logs, metrics, traces, and cloud-monitoring signals are ingested into the observability stack, where UModel correlates them into a digital-twin view of applications, services, resources, and operational relationships. On top of that model, STAROps provides alert-rule governance, event correlation, automated inspections, root-cause analysis, and digital-employee workflows driven by Agent and Mission mechanisms. The long-running Mission model lets Lemon schedule or trigger inspections, analyses, and change actions automatically, while HIL controls keep risky changes gated by human approval. Combined with Cloud Monitor 2.0 and SLS, the platform gives Lemon one governed observability plane for both business and system telemetry, so payment, checkout, store, and settlement incidents can be triaged faster and routine operations can move from manual checks into AI-assisted, repeatable automation.
Data flow
Logs, metrics, traces, and cloud-monitoring signals from POS, ERP, WMS, payment, and related services flow into Cloud Monitor 2.0 and SLS, where UModel correlates them into a digital twin. STAROps consumes that model to deduplicate alerts, run inspections, trigger root-cause analysis, and create digital-employee workflows that guide or automate response actions.
