Business outcome
Sinocare replaced fragmented model integrations with a single governed AI operating plane. The standard API layer eliminated repeated adapter development, reduced model-switching work from weeks to hours, and raised AI application launch speed by 50% while adding the audit, content-safety, and observability controls needed for healthcare compliance.

Solution
Sinocare built a governed multi-model AI delivery layer on Alibaba Cloud AI Gateway. The gateway standardizes access to external and custom models through a single API plane, automatically normalizing authentication, protocol, and response differences so application teams can switch or add models without hard-coded rewrites. Around that entry point, Sinocare enabled consumer authentication, rate limiting, circuit-breaking, and fallback so chronic-disease applications can continue serving users even when a preferred model is throttled or unavailable. The gateway also enforces AI safety guardrails and captures full request or answer logs for auditability, which matters when health-related prompts and outputs must be governed under medical compliance requirements. AI Gateway also sends QPS, token, latency, and error telemetry into Cloud Monitor 2.0 so Sinocare can tune performance, attribute cost, and alert on anomalies across its multi-model AI estate.
Data flow
Sinocare's AI applications send requests through AI Gateway, which authenticates the caller, normalizes model-specific protocols, applies safety checks, selects the target model, and records request or answer logs for audit. Telemetry about latency, tokens, throughput, and failure conditions then flows into Cloud Monitor 2.0 for visualization, alerting, and cost or performance analysis.
