Solution

Kotoko AI and Baidu AI Cloud designed a cross-cloud infrastructure plan for the company's multi-agent companion game, Bside. The game relies on many concurrent AI-driven character interactions, so the technical requirement is not just generic hosting but low-latency, globally distributed delivery for language-model-backed social behavior. Baidu replaced the prior overseas-only deployment pattern with a cross-cloud and cross-product setup that uses BCC cloud servers for base compute, GPU cloud resources for AI workloads and CDN acceleration for global player access. The supporting architecture also included latency testing and path optimization for transcontinental traffic, plus an operating model that can flex server and accelerator capacity up and down as business stages change. In practice, the system lets Kotoko keep service continuity during migration, sustain global interactive performance and avoid overpaying for idle AI infrastructure while the game scales across markets.

Data flow

Game traffic and AI-agent requests are served from BCC and GPU resources, while global player sessions are accelerated through the CDN and optimized network paths to keep response times stable across regions.

Solution architecture

3 components · 2 layers
  1. Compute
    • Cloud Servers BCC Provide the base compute environment for the game's migrated application services.
    • GPU Cloud Servers Supply accelerator capacity for the AI-heavy game workloads.
  2. Serving
    • Content Delivery Network (CDN) Accelerates global game access and reduces cross-region latency for players.

Architecture clues

  • CDN and cross-cloud path optimization are treated as core game requirements
  • GPU and non-GPU resources are scaled independently by business phase
  • The architecture spans multiple clouds and regions

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value75/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact0/25
    0 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence82%
