Mojo Fertility had built AI-based sperm-testing technology, but traditional lab testing was still slow, inaccessible and inaccurate for many consumers, and the company needed a way to make testing easier to adopt and easier to deliver safely outside the clinic.

Solution
Mojo Fertility worked with EY teams to extend its AI-based sperm analysis technology into a direct-to-consumer service. Mojo's core technology counts sperm with high accuracy and computes sperm count, motility and DNA integrity, but the broader challenge was operationalizing that capability for consumers and clinics. EY researched target audiences, repositioned the value proposition around men's health data, and designed the Mojo Home Kit so users could collect samples at home and send them to the lab quickly. The solution combined the AI testing capability with a digitally coordinated pickup experience, packaging built to keep samples viable and a service flow that made the lab process simpler for end users. By pairing AI-based analysis with product design, logistics and a targeted launch campaign, Mojo turned a specialized diagnostic workflow into a more scalable customer experience.
Data flow
Users collect a sample with the Mojo Home Kit and collection flask, then the digital platform triggers rapid pickup and transport to the lab. Once received, Mojo's AI-based testing computes sperm count, motility and DNA integrity so results can be returned through the service flow without the manual counting bottleneck of traditional testing.
