Solution

BMC Helix built an autonomous ServiceOps framework on Gemini platform using Llama models to power agents such as Ops Swarmer. Gemini platform provides the managed environment in which BMC can fine-tune and run these models quickly, while the company’s custom mixture-of-experts architecture keeps the system lightweight enough to run efficiently on limited GPU resources. The resulting agents reason, plan, and assist engineers directly inside chat workflows, giving operations teams more relevant incident context and actionable suggestions. Because the framework is designed for customer cloud environments, enterprise users in industries such as financial services and telecom can deploy fine-tuned models without giving up control over their infrastructure. This architecture turned agentic AI into an operational reliability tool, helping BMC customers reduce recovery times for mission-critical services while creating a portable ServiceOps foundation they can extend in their own environments.

Data flow

Operational signals are fed into Gemini-platform-hosted Llama agents, which reason about incidents, plan next steps, and return recommendations directly inside engineer chat workflows. Customers can deploy the resulting framework in their own cloud environments.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value80/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth20/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact15/25
    1 metric describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale5/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence79%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
