Solution

AdriaCamps and IBM Business Partner Deegloo built a minimum viable customer-service assistant on IBM watsonx.ai to unify fragmented booking knowledge. The company manages accommodation data for more than 250 campsites and had support agents switching between multiple databases and large collections of PDF brochures to answer customer questions. The MVP assistant converses in English and German, brings together information from five sources and uses retrieval-augmented generation to supplement model knowledge with authoritative external content. Deegloo also added a confidence score so agents can judge how reliable a response is before using it. In the resulting flow, customer or agent questions are interpreted in natural language, supporting content is retrieved from structured and unstructured sources, and the assistant returns an answer that can either help an agent respond faster or eventually power customer-facing self-service.

Data flow

Questions are submitted to the watsonx.ai-based assistant, relevant content is retrieved from five structured and unstructured information sources through the RAG workflow, and grounded responses with confidence scores are returned to agents or future self-service channels.

Solution architecture

2 components · 2 layers
  1. Compute
    • IBM watsonx.ai Provides the generative AI environment for AdriaCamps’ multilingual customer-service assistant.
  2. Orchestration
    • Deegloo RAG workflow Retrieves supporting information from multiple authoritative sources to ground the assistant’s answers.

  • Assistant combines information from five sources
  • Initial rollout supports English and German
  • Uses retrieval-augmented generation plus confidence scoring

Evidence from the source

AdriaCamps chose to build a minimum viable product (MVP) using IBM® watsonx.ai™ studio.
Deegloo implemented a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technique to bring in additional information from authoritative sources outside of the training data.
This assistant brings together information from five sources and presents it intelligently in response to natural language queries.

Scoring methodology

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value70/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact0/25
    0 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale5/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence82%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence15/20
    3 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity8/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
