Happiest Minds Technologies Limited

Enterprise Knowledge Search

Happiest Minds wanted users of its Digital Content Monetization platform to find and act on information buried in large unstructured repositories more quickly, because keyword-based search only returned matching paragraphs and limited decision speed and customer value.

Solution

Happiest Minds worked with IBM on a proof of concept that loaded unstructured repository data into IBM watsonx.ai on IBM Cloud so the company could replace exact-match lookup with AI-assisted retrieval and summarization. In the DCM platform, watsonx.ai is used to search across large collections of content, identify the most relevant passages through retrieval-augmented generation, and then summarize and rephrase the results for end users interacting through chat. That approach lets the platform turn a broad document search problem into a pointed-answer experience, which is important for a product with more than 50 catalog features and multiple downstream dashboards and business charts. The same RAG pattern also speeds internal content curation, because relevant material is surfaced faster and can be repackaged into insight views without the manual hunting and rewriting that previously slowed teams down. The solution is still being tuned through internal and beta testing, but it already gives Happiest Minds a repeatable architecture for conversational access to its content estate.

Data flow

Unstructured content from the DCM platform is loaded into watsonx.ai on IBM Cloud, relevant documents are retrieved through RAG, the selected passages are summarized and rephrased for chat interactions, and the curated outputs feed dashboards, charts, and decision support inside the platform.

  1. Compute
    • IBM watsonx.ai Drives the RAG-based search, answer generation, and summarization workflows across the content repositories.
  2. Serving
    • IBM Cloud Hosts the watsonx.ai environment used to serve the DCM platform’s AI-assisted search experience.

Architecture clues

  • RAG components identify relevant documents before LLM summarization.
  • The company plans more internal and beta testing before broader production release.
  • The proof of concept loaded unstructured data into a Prompt Lab in watsonx.ai.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
