Suzhou Universal

IT Operations Automation · Real-time Analytics

Suzhou Universal needed a faster way to analyze production quality and adjust schedules because MES, ERP, APS, and quality systems were disconnected, cross-system queries were slow, and manual coordination created errors and delayed operational decisions.

Solution

Suzhou Universal and X-POWER built an Agentic AI Platform on IBM watsonx Orchestrate to unify production data, quality analysis, and scheduling workflows across the factory environment. The platform connects MES, ERP, APS, and quality systems into a shared data foundation that users can query through natural language instead of hopping between applications. One set of agents focuses on quality inquiry and automated analysis, aggregating production and defect data so teams can monitor issues in real time, spot trends, and investigate likely root causes. Another agent handles production scheduling, allowing planners to request changes in natural language while validating those changes inside a draft environment with side-by-side comparisons and risk checks before execution. By orchestrating data and decisions rather than automating isolated tasks, the platform gives Suzhou Universal a safer, faster operating model for production management and creates a scalable base for further intelligent-manufacturing initiatives.

Data flow

Operational data from MES, ERP, APS, and quality systems is unified into a shared foundation, watsonx Orchestrate routes user requests through quality or scheduling agents, and the system returns real-time analysis or draft-validated schedule changes before they are applied to production.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    5 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
