Solution
Docusign standardized its agreement-AI stack on NVIDIA's inference platform so the same serving layer could support multiple agreement-understanding scenarios without bespoke deployment work. Triton Inference Server became the unified runtime for models that extract parties, terms, dates, and other agreement metadata, replacing framework-specific servers that were harder to manage at scale. As usage grew, Docusign migrated those models from on-premises CPU servers to Azure-based NVIDIA GPUs, then began compiling them with TensorRT and moving toward A100 Tensor Core GPUs to drive still lower latency. This architecture turned model serving into a reusable platform capability for Intelligent Agreement Management: documents and agreement text are processed by GPU-backed inference services, outputs are passed into IAM applications, and product teams can optimize throughput and cost centrally instead of scenario by scenario.
Data flow
Agreement documents enter Docusign IAM applications, where Triton-served models extract parties, terms, dates, and other metadata. TensorRT and Azure-hosted GPUs optimize the inference path, and the resulting structured data is fed back into Docusign's agreement-management workflows for review, insights, and action.
