VEV Romerike

Customer Service Automation · Marketing Personalization

VEV Romerike lacked integrated service, sales, marketing, and data workflows, so support cases moved slowly, chatbot automation underperformed, and the small team had little visibility into customer behavior or growth opportunities.

Solution

VEV Romerike used Salesforce Foundations to activate a connected SMB stack spanning Agentforce, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud without taking on the cost or complexity of a large-enterprise rollout. The telco first used Foundations to connect support systems and replace ineffective chatbot automation with a better trained service workflow that can resolve a meaningful share of cases automatically. Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud now give the team more current customer insight and targeted communication, while Sales Cloud and Service Cloud share the same account context so support interactions can feed upsell and cross-sell opportunities instead of ending in a disconnected ticket queue. For a business with fewer than 30 employees, that unified architecture creates the leverage to move faster, collaborate across departments, and grow nationally without adding manual handoffs back into service or marketing operations.

Data flow

Support interactions and customer data flow into Service Cloud and Data Cloud, Agentforce automates routine resolution, and the resulting account context is reused by Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud for targeted communication, upsell, and cross-sell activity.

Solution architecture

6 components · 3 layers
  1. Storage
    • Data Cloud Connects customer data so service and marketing teams work from the same context.
  2. Serving
    • Salesforce Foundations Provides the packaged entry point that unlocked connected Salesforce capabilities for VEV's small team.
    • Service Cloud Hosts connected support workflows and shared service visibility.
    • Sales Cloud Lets VEV tie customer-value and growth opportunities back to service interactions.
    • Marketing Cloud Enables more targeted, loyalty-building customer outreach.
  3. Orchestration
    • Agentforce Automates and accelerates case handling across the service workflow.

Architecture clues

  • Foundations is the enablement layer that made Agentforce, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud accessible to the team.
  • Service and customer-value workflows now share one connected data layer instead of separate tools.
  • The rollout is explicitly framed as a small-business implementation rather than an enterprise-scale transformation.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
