Solution
Mercedes-Benz and Baidu AI Cloud built a new intelligent telephone platform by consolidating the company's customer contact center operations into a single stack. Baidu AI Cloud Intelligent Customer Service provides the main service layer, while shared AI capabilities such as ASR, TTS, NLG, intelligent quality inspection, agent assistance, online service robots, and intelligent training create a common operating base for the call center. The project also integrated Salesforce CRM and migrated the knowledge base so customer data, service logic, and content could be managed centrally instead of in separate systems for CAC, TCC, and RSA teams. That architecture lets Mercedes-Benz run unified access, monitoring, operations, security, and intelligent-service functions across both electric and fuel-vehicle business lines.
Data flow
Customer requests from the consolidated contact centers are routed into the unified call platform, where ASR and NLG support IVR, bots, quality inspection, and agent-assistance workflows. Service knowledge and CRM context are retrieved through the migrated knowledge base and Salesforce integration, and the resulting interactions are managed through one operating and monitoring layer.
