Solution

Multiversity partnered with Bain to identify more than 30 innovation initiatives and then put generative AI into production through two concrete pilots. The first, the AI University Chatbot, uses Open AI technology and class content as its knowledge base to answer student questions, clarify concepts, point students to reference sources, and provide instant feedback around the clock. The second is a custom internal tool that helps teaching staff complete administrative work much faster. Together, the deployments created a student-support and staff-efficiency architecture in which course materials are ingested into the chatbot, student prompts are served through the assistant, and teaching tasks flow through a separate operational tool. The source does not identify a dedicated storage platform, but it is explicit that the chatbot is already active in many courses and that professors validated the assistant's accuracy before broader use.

Data flow

Class contents feed the AI University Chatbot, which serves 24/7 responses, clarifications, and references to students. A separate custom tool handles staff administrative workflows, turning operational inputs into faster task completion for teaching teams.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    3 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence85%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability25/25
12 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    4 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance0/10
The publication date has no documented provenance.
  • Source transparency10/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
