Solution

Netox standardized its Netox Trust cybersecurity services on IBM Security QRadar SIEM after deciding its prior mix of customer-specific tools and a weaker SIEM could not scale. QRadar became the multitenant analytics core of the company's SOC, giving analysts anomaly detection, network monitoring, user behavior analytics and customizable dashboards across customer environments. Netox deployed the platform in its own data center on VersaStack infrastructure with IBM FlashSystem storage, while storing customer backups in IBM Cloud Object Storage managed through IBM Storage Insights. The architecture ingests security events from customer networks and cloud environments into one SIEM, correlates them with AI-powered analytics and exposes investigation views and automated reports that analysts use to detect and resolve threats quickly. This standardized control plane lets Netox grow service delivery without building separate SIEM stacks per customer.

Data flow

Security telemetry from customer networks and cloud environments feeds QRadar, where analysts use anomaly detection, traffic monitoring and investigation views to identify threats, while backup data is stored in IBM Cloud Object Storage and managed through IBM Storage Insights.

Solution architecture

4 components · 3 layers
  1. Compute
    • IBM Security QRadar SIEM Acts as the multitenant SOC platform for anomaly detection, event analysis and threat investigation across customer environments.
  2. Storage
    • IBM FlashSystem Storage Provides storage inside Netox's data-center infrastructure that hosts the SOC platform.
    • IBM Cloud Object Storage Stores customer backups associated with the cybersecurity service environment.
  3. Uncategorized
    • IBM Storage Insights Manages and monitors the storage environment used for customer backup data.

Architecture clues

  • Automated reports and customizable dashboards cover both on-premises and cloud deployments.
  • QRadar is deployed in Netox's own data center rather than as a fully outsourced SOC platform.
  • The service is designed as a true multitenant SIEM environment.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value100/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    3 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence89%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability21/25
10 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    5 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance10/10
The publication date comes from the source page or publisher.
  • Source transparency8/10
1 source reference document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
