Solution

Unify built its go-to-market platform as an agentic search system on top of several OpenAI models, matching each task to the model best suited for it. The Observation Model, powered by OpenAI o3, continuously researches a customer's total addressable market, detects high-signal events such as new hires or stack changes, and surfaces strategic insight through multi-agent workflows. The research agent uses GPT-4.1 for planning, the Computer-Using Agent for dynamic browsing tasks that static scraping cannot complete, and GPT-4o for synthesis, allowing users to ask open-ended questions and generate grounded outbound copy. A separate copywriting layer then turns those findings into personalized messages tailored to each lead. Unify reinforced the stack with continuous benchmarking and reasoning-quality evaluations so upstream signal detection and planning improve as models change. This lets GTM teams treat growth as a measurable search problem instead of a labor-intensive manual process.

Data flow

The Observation Model scans public sources for market signals, which are classified and routed into the research agent. GPT-4.1, CUA, and GPT-4o then gather, browse, and synthesize relevant context before the Copywriting layer turns the output into personalized outreach for sales teams.

Solution architecture

7 components · 3 layers
  1. Compute
    • OpenAI o3 Powers reasoning-heavy signal detection and upstream decision logic.
    • GPT-4.1 Handles planning for research tasks and agent decisioning.
    • GPT-4o Synthesizes research findings and supports copy generation.
  2. Serving
    • research agent Answers open-ended research questions and supports grounded outbound content generation.
    • Copywriting Turns agentic research outputs into hyper-personalized outbound drafts for each lead.
  3. Orchestration
    • Observation Model Continuously researches the target market and detects high-signal events for prospecting.
    • Computer-Using Agent Performs dynamic browsing and UI-level research tasks not possible with static scraping.

Architecture clues

  • CUA is used for UI-level research tasks that static scraping cannot handle
  • Continuous model benchmarking is used for reasoning quality, not just accuracy or latency
  • Observation Model is powered by OpenAI o3 and multi-agent workflows
  • Research agent combines GPT-4.1 planning, CUA browsing, and GPT-4o synthesis

Scoring methodology

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value90/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact15/25
    1 metric describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale10/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence90%
  • Source authority20/25
The main evidence is an official vendor-published customer story.
  • Claim traceability23/25
11 of 12 key fields link to a named source.
  • Direct evidence20/20
    4 direct source quotes retained.
  • Date provenance8/10
The publication date comes from publisher-controlled metadata.
  • Source transparency9/10
2 source references document publisher, URL, authority, retrieval, and supported fields.
  • Implementation specificity10/10
Rewards source-backed components, data flow, quantified impact, and a specific outcome.
