Solution

Lucid used finance as the entry point for an AI-native operating model. PwC combined its finance transformation expertise, AI capabilities, and agent OS with Amazon Web Services to turn Lucid’s cloud environment and operational data into AI-enabled forecasting and reporting workflows. Cross-functional AI pods built machine-learning models, intelligent agents, and finance copilots that automate forecasting, reconciliation, analytics, and monitoring while still allowing humans to refine assumptions as market conditions change. The initial implementation reduced end-to-end demand forecasting and scenario modeling from weeks to less than a minute, then expanded into an AI-enabled executive concierge that surfaces trends, insights, and capital-investment visibility for leadership. What started in finance is now a repeatable pattern for procurement and operations, with 14 AI use cases scaled in 10 weeks across the enterprise.

Data flow

Lucid operational and finance data flows from its cloud environment into AWS-based AI workflows where PwC’s agent OS, ML models, and intelligent agents automate forecasting, scenario planning, reconciliation, and monitoring. Outputs feed reporting tools and an AI-enabled executive concierge that surfaces insights and capital-investment visibility for leaders.
