CXReview

Customer Service Automation · Security and Compliance

CXReview needed to automate quality-control and compliance analysis across high-volume call center conversations because manual review covered only a small fraction of calls and slowed coaching and remediation.

A manual QC check typically takes four times longer than the call itself
Estimated to save around 23 hours in total per day
Only 2% of calls are reviewed for quality and compliance

Reported impact

Business outcome

The pilot reduced manual after-call work, expanded the practical reach of quality monitoring and positioned CXReview to improve compliance oversight while saving substantial agent time each day.

Solution

CXReview extended its conversation-analytics platform with IBM AI services to automate call review and make large call datasets easier for clients to interrogate. The company had already introduced IBM Watson Discovery to monitor conversations and surface near-real-time performance and infraction signals for quality-control managers. It then piloted IBM watsonx.ai to summarize selected call transcripts and remove the need for agents to write manual dispositions, while planning IBM watsonx Assistant as a chat interface over the stored conversation data. In the target architecture, transcripts and monitoring data are indexed, summarized and exposed through a conversational layer so supervisors and clients can find issues faster, coach agents sooner and strengthen compliance coverage without scaling manual effort linearly.

Data flow

Call transcripts are collected into CXReview’s conversation analytics platform, indexed and monitored with Watson Discovery, summarized with watsonx.ai, and then exposed through watsonx Assistant so managers and clients can search, review and act on conversation insights.

Evidence from the source

Previously, the firm was using traditional processes to monitor and audit calls for quality and identify instances of noncompliance.
The first phase of the pilot, which used watsonx.ai to summarize call transcripts in selected projects, has shown encouraging early results.
This phase of the pilot is estimated to save around 23 hours in total per day for the agents using the service.

How scores are calculated

Customer Reference Value measures usefulness as a customer reference. Evidence Confidence measures the quality and traceability of available evidence, not independent verification.

Customer reference value95/100
  • Problem clarity20/20
Measures whether the customer's operational problem is specific enough to compare.
  • Implementation depth25/25
Rewards named components, data flow, integrations, and architecture detail.
  • Outcome specificity20/20
Measures whether the reported benefit is concrete rather than a generic claim.
  • Quantified impact25/25
    2 metrics describe measurable impact.
  • Deployment scale5/10
Rewards evidence of a live or scaled deployment and meaningful integration scope.
Evidence confidence94%
  • Source authority25/25
The deployment is described by the adopting organization or a government source.
  • Claim traceability25/25
